Key Staff
Leonard Daniels, CEO/Executive Director
Mr. Daniels oversees the overall development, administration and fundraising functions at ENS, as well as the mentor recruiting,training and program development. He also works to create collaborative relationships with various community agencies and churches. Mr. Daniels founder of ENS, certified prevention specialist, 10 years of experience working in the urban community with a focus on mentoring, evidenced-based life skills programming, parenting training, community organization, and family counseling in support of at-risk youth and families. Mr. Daniels has served in a leadership position in the Department of Army and in urban church populations. He received BS Mathematics, MS Engineering and National Security Strategies, the Industrial College of the Army Forces.
Anita Waddell, Special Assistant/Human Resources Ms. Waddell provides organization and administrative support to service personnel and program personnel relative to mentoring, counseling and after schools services. She provides human resources, support as medical officer, security officer and personnel trainer. Also, she is a certified mentor program development trainer and parent education trainer. Ms. Waddell is retired as an Administrative Liaison, US Marine Corps. She has a U.S Marine Corps certification in Administrative Services and works in various capacities with youth programs.
Fay LeSane, Director, Clinical Services
Ms. LeSane oversees all clinical services and provides individual and family counseling services to youth and parents; and provide guidance for the diverse mentor programs offered by ENS. In addition to supervising the clinical staff, she oversees the clinical interface and mentoring services for ENS youth, mentors and parents. She also oversees service learning projects, training and needs of the parent and mentor support groups. Ms. LeSane has over 35 years of experience working in clinical services working crisis situations, youth and family services involving low income and at-risk youth and families. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), MS in Social Work and Counseling.
Walleska Wagner, Associate Director, Clinical Services Ms. Wagner leads in providing individual and family counseling services to youth and parents. Resident expert and provide guidance and clinical interface with mentoring services. She provides guidance for a diverse group of mentors. She supports training and service learning projects, and parent and mentor support groups. Ms. Wagner has over 20 years of experience working in human services with low-income and at-risk youth and families in the United States as well as Central America. She is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). She completed a Masters Degree in Education in Counseling, and is bilingual – Spanish.
Parvaneh Latifzadeh, Associate, Marketing and Fundraising In her position as Associate, Ms. Parvaneh is responsible for implementing the annual marketing and fundraising strategy including donor cultivation, events, grant requests and major gifts. She also supports families by connecting them with community as our at-large Family Advocate for parents. She has a passion for connecting parents with special services. She has over 20 years of experience in business marketing and fundraising. She is of Middle Eastern decent, holds a BA in Business Management and Psychology, speaks 4 languages (Arabic, Farsi and Castillion and English).
Harold Jackson, Associate, Mentoring Services Mr. Jackson supervises and coordinates the operation of the adolescent male youth mentoring and orchestrates the character development and evidenced-based life skills programming. He assists with the mentor training, serves as the key liaison with public schools, and manages a caseload of youth / mentor matches. In addition to his 10 years experiences in youth and sports programming, he contributes in the community and a faith-based setting working with at-risk youth and families. He also coordinates the monthly educational / support meetings for the adolescent male youth and their mentors. Mr. Jackson has worked at serving low-income clients in Montgomery, Alabama’s urban communities. His background also includes program development and volunteer recruitment and training.
Kamisha Bratton, Associate, Mentoring Services Ms. Bratton oversees and supervises the operation of the adolescent female mentoring, evidenced-based life skills programming and she support the Day Center. She also provides individual and family counseling services. She supports after school remediation. In her role in mentoring services she recruits and matches adult mentors with youth, develops training materials, leads training sessions for adolescent female youth and mentors. She also coordinates the monthly educational / support meetings for the adolescent female youth and their mentors. She completed a Masters Degree in Education in Counseling from Lynchburg College (2010). Ms. Bratton has over 4 years of experience working in human services with low-income and high-risk individuals.
Juana Jenkins, Lead Teacher, After School Program In her position as Lead Teacher, Ms. Jenkins supervises a staff of 3 and the operation of the Day Center and after school program. Ms. Jenkins provides life skills programming instructions and lead in accomplishing Center goals for academic remediation services for at-risk youth. Ms Jenkins has an Associate of Arts and is completing her BS in Social Work at NOVA.
